Rehoming Form

In accordance with the Companion Animals Act 1998 (NSW) and YVCR’s obligations under NSW Designated Rehoming Organisation laws, you as the surrenderer agree:

If you are no longer able to keep this cat or kitten, have you made suitable arrangements to ensure their immediate safety and wellbeing.
You have made all reasonable efforts to rehome the cat yourself first (e.g. through family, friends, or trusted networks), with YVCR considered a secondary option unless urgent circumstances apply.
Where no suitable long-term home can be found, YVCR may assist with responsible rehoming, including ensuring the correct transfer of microchip details.
A $50 administration fee applies to all YVCR rehoming services, regardless of whether rehoming is successful or not.
